Q & A

Billing Questions

How do I get my Invoice?

For customers who pay on a weekly basis, we generate invoices every Monday for any work that was done the previous week. You will receive an email with your paid invoice, so you can easily keep track of your lawn care expenses.

How often am I billed/invoiced?

We invoice weekly - every Monday - for the services we provided the previous week. We charge the card we have on file for the services rendered, so you don't have to worry about making a payment manually.

For example, if we mowed your lawn on Thursday, you would receive your paid invoice the following Monday. We can either text or email your invoice to you, depending on your preference.

How do I change the credit card that is on file?

There are two options for changing your card on file - simply give us a call or log into the customer portal.

How do I know my credit card information is safe?

At Total Lawn Care, we take the security of our customers' information very seriously. That's why we use encrypted, PCI-compliant software to process credit card payments. We partner with Stripe, a leading payment processing company, to ensure that your payment information is secure and protected.

Once your payment information is entered into our system, it is securely encrypted and stored, so that no one can access the card details. We can only see the last 4 digits of the card number for identification purposes.

Lawn Mowing Questions

When do you start the mowing season or end the mowing season?

We try to begin our normally scheduled mowing the first or second full week of April and finish at the end of October. Of course, we live in Utah so all of this depends on the weather and customer preference.

What day will you be out to service my yard?

At Total Lawn Care, we're committed to keeping our costs as low as possible, while still providing high-quality lawn care services to our customers. One way we do this is by grouping properties together in the areas we service, which reduces our drive time and makes our operations more efficient.

At the beginning of each season, we set up our mowing schedule and assign each property a scheduled day for lawn care services. We'll always let you know what your scheduled day is, so you can plan accordingly. If there are any changes to the schedule during the season, we'll notify you as soon as possible.

What happens if it rains on my scheduled day?

We do our best to keep our scheduled appointments with our customers, rain or shine. However, if the weather conditions are too severe, we may need to reschedule your lawn care service for another day. If there is light rain, we can usually still mow your lawn, but if the rain is heavier, we may be unable to service your property to avoid creating ruts in your lawn.

We monitor the weather closely and will notify you in advance if we anticipate any issues with our scheduled appointment due to the weather. In some cases, due to sudden changes in the weather, we may need to notify you on the day of the appointment. If there is a delay due to weather conditions, we will always keep you informed and provide updates on when we can reschedule your lawn care service.

Do you mulch or bag the grass?

Mulching, or leaving behind grass clippings after mowing, can be very beneficial. When you mulch, you can gain more fertilizer-type nutrients back into your lawn. There may be situations where the grass is too long and mulching is not recommended. In this case, we will bag the clippings and take them away as part of the service. If you prefer one over the other, we will accommodate you.
